TRANSFORMATIONS OF BOOLEANS
Abstract
We say that (M;f) is a Boolean unar iff f is a mapping from a subset D of B(M) into B(M). Subunars, homomorphisms and free objects are defined in a usual way. The main subject of the paper is the problem of existence of free objects in several classes of Boolean unars. Almost everywhere one obtains the following "unusual" property: there are more than one endomorphisms in a free Boolean unar which induce the identity transformation of the basis (as it is well-known, free algebras have not this property ([1])).
