Abstract

In this case study, we aim to rigorously verify established theoretical properties concerning the Assouad dimension of the set {0} ∪ {1/n : n ∈ N}through detailed calculations. This work serves as a foundational step towards identifying general principles governing the convergence behavior of Assouad dimension calculations for arbitrary fractals. Specifically, we investigate the necessary precision for the generation and measurement of such sets to achieve a target accuracy in the estimation of their Assouad dimensions.
